Chelsea vs Liverpool Betting Tips
Here are our best tips for the match and we also have a range of other markets available:
Chelsea and Liverpool remain unbeaten in the league but the Reds are top of the table with a perfect haul of 18 points from their first six matches - an achievement which has only been matched on four previous occasions since the Premier League era began.
Two of those teams - Chelsea (2009/10) and Manchester City (2016/17) - lost their next match and if Liverpool suffer the same fate, they will be leapfrogged by the Blues.
Maurizio Sarri's men dropped their first points of the season in last week's goalless draw at West Ham but have started the campaign better than most people expected and the midweek result can only have boosted their confidence.
Liverpool have looked closer to being the finished article, though, this season and are second behind City based on expected goals data.
They have already beaten Tottenham away with a convincing performance and an away win is the first of our Chelsea vs Liverpool predictions.

First goalscorer tips
The match will be hyped up in some quarters as a shootout between the two star men: Eden Hazard vs Mo Salah.
There is plenty more quality in attacking areas but they are undoubtedly the dangermen and although Hazard has been the leading light for goals scored this season, Salah's xG suggests he is on the end of more chances so we're tipping him to score first at 4/1.
Anytime goalscorer tips
James Milner has already scored twice for Liverpool this season in all competitions, converting from the penalty spot against both Crystal Palace and PSG.
The midfielder gets better with age and looks good value at 5/1 to grab his third of the season.
Where the game will be won or lost
Sarri and Jurgen Klopp both made eight changes to their starting line-up for the midweek cup tie so let's start by ignoring that result.
The big difference between these teams is how long they have been working under their managers, with Sarri trying to make up ground on his opposite number.
Ahead of Wednesday's meeting at Anfield, Sarri said of the challenge Chelsea face: "Against a team who have worked with the same coach for four or five years, I don't remember exactly, they are a step forward from us in this moment.
"We have started to work together 40 days ago. So for us I think it is a bit early. We have to work, we need to improve and then maybe, in one year, we will be at the same level of Liverpool."
This weekend's best bets
If you're interested in accumulators or in-play betting, check out our regular betting columns:
It is in defence where Liverpool have most improved while Chelsea look more vulnerable but we're not expecting either side to keep a clean sheet so Liverpool to win and both teams to score at 3/1 is another of our Premier League predictions.
For bigger odds, take 9/1 for Liverpool to win 2-1 for the third successive away game after enjoying the same scoreline at both Leicester and Tottenham.
Andreas Christensen should be fit for Chelsea after shaking off a stomach bug but Antonio Rudiger, Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will all be given late fitness tests.
Virgil van Dijk is a major injury doubt for Liverpool after aggravating a rib problem against Southampton last week and he has not trained with the first team since, so Dejan Lovren could start at the back. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Georginio Wijnaldum have recovered from a knock and illness respectively.
