This week's best Europa League bets
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Shakhtar Donetsk
Eintracht Frankfurt saw their 100 per cent record in this year's Europa League come to an end following a 2-2 draw in the first leg in Kharkiv. The Bundesliga side won all six group matches, scoring 17 goals in the process, but had to settle for a draw despite twice taking the lead and also playing against 10 men for 79 minutes. The Germans have also lost just once in 17 games in this competition.
Shakhtar won only one of their six group games in the Champions League and even though they are unbeaten in five away games in the Europa League, we are taking them on in the first of our Europa League predictions.
Zenit St Petersburg vs Fenerbahce
Zenit will look to take advantage of their impressive home record as they bid to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit, with Robert Mak also having a penalty saved for the Russians. Zenit accumulated nine of their 11 Group C points at home and have won all five ties at the Gazprom Arena. They have never lost at home in this competition, winning 20 of their 22 encounters.
Fenerbahce have never won in four previous visits to Russia and are winless away from home in Europe in five games, losing four of them.
Villarreal vs Sporting CP
An early Alfonso Pedraza goal in the first leg handed the Spanish strugglers a narrow advantage and we now expect them to complete the job at El Madrigal, with Sunday's impressive 3-0 win at home to Sevilla having further boosted their confidence.
Villarreal are looking to advance to the round of 16 for the fourth time and posted a record-equalling fifth clean sheet in a row in the competition in the first leg. Sporting have never won a European match in Spain in 13 attempts and have just one win in six on their travels this year.
Real Betis vs Rennes
Substitute Diego Lainez netted a last-gasp equaliser to earn Real Betis a 3-3 draw from the first leg in France, having trailed 3-1. It preserved the Liga side's unbeaten record in the Europa League this term having topped Group F with three wins and three draws. They have also lost just once at home in all competitions since October - Real Madrid netting a late winner.

Rennes went through as Group K runners-up despite losing three games in a row and sit mid-table in Ligue 1, going down 2-0 at Reims on Sunday, and are worth opposing.

Genk vs Slavia Prague
Genk top the Belgian top flight but did suffer only a third defeat of the season when going down 3-1 at second-placed Club Brugge on Sunday. The Smurfs, who registered a goalless draw in the first leg, are unbeaten in 16 matches on Belgian soil, winning 13, and have found the back of the net in 28 successive matches in Europe.
Slavia Prague have a miserable away record in Europe, winning just two of their last 25 ties, and have been blanked in three of their four previous European ties on the road.
