Europa League betting tips: Red Devils spot-on for 90/1 five-fold acca

British clubs are in action on Thursday night when the group stage of the Europa League gets under way and we have tips from all five matches.

We had a profitable evening to level stakes in the last play-off round when three of our Europa League betting tips were successful, with James Forrest and Raul Jimenez scoring at 3/1 and 11/8 respectively and both teams scoring at 19/10 in Linfield's trip to Qarabag.

Let's hope for more success with Thursday's Europa League betting tips which combined in a footy acca can be backed at more than 90/1 as a five-fold and qualifies for a 10% bonus thanks to the BetStars acca bonus offer.

If you want to combine all our Europa League betting tips, the odds are more than 90/1 for a winning 5 fold.

Europa League betting tips

Manchester United vs Astana

United are just 2/9 in the Europa League odds to get their group campaign off to a winning start against the Kazakhstan champions but better value can be found in the hosts being awarded a penalty at 14/5.

The Red Devils have already been awarded four spot-kicks from their five Premier League matches, three more than their nearest rivals, with Marcus Rashford drawing two of them.

Daniel James has twice been booked for diving and while we're not suggesting the former Swansea winger is a cheat, his skill and pace will be a handful for Astana's defence inside the area.

This weekend's best bets

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Arsenal

Arsenal's frailties were exposed once again at the weekend when they threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Watford after which Gunners skipper Granit Xhaka accused his team-mates of being "scared".

Unai Emery's side can put their Premier League problems to one side this week in their Europa League opener against Eintracht Frankfurt, who came through three qualifiers to reach the group stage.

The north Londoners won all three of their away games in the group stage last season, but had a couple of bumps in the knockout phase when they lost to BATE Borisov and Rennes.

Arsenal's away record in the Premier League was comfortably the worst of the top six and despite winning at Newcastle on the opening weekend, their struggles may resurface again.

Eintracht Frankfurt have won all five of their home matches in the Europa League and Bundesliga this season, so the hosts to win or draw at 13/20 is the next of our tips for Thursday night.

Wolves vs Braga

Wolves have had a difficult start to the season and remain without a win after five Premier League games, but their run to the group stage of the Europa League has been smooth.

The midlanders won 3-2 in Torino and took the home leg 2-1 in the third qualifying round and just like their games against the Italians, their last four matches in the Premier League have also seen goals at both ends, the latest a 5-2 home defeat by Chelsea.

Braga won 4-2 and 2-1 at Brondby and Spartak Moscow in the away legs of their qualifiers and two of their three games on the road in the Portuguese top flight have seen goals at both ends, so both teams to score at 21/20 seems a good price as the next of our Europa League betting tips.

Rennes vs Celtic

Celtic have made the perfect start domestically, winning all five games to sit top of the Scottish Premiership, but they must still be ruing how they failed to qualify for the Champions League after conceding two late goals against Cluj.

Brendan Rodgers' men swept aside AIK Solna to reach the group stage of the Europa League, but will find it more difficult against a Rennes team that beat Arsenal on home turf last season and who stand second after five games in Ligue 1.

Rennes defeated defending champions PSG at home last month and with M'Baye Niang scoring twice in his last three games, we fancy the French side to sneak a win at 6/5.

Rangers vs Feyenoord

Rangers edged into the group stage by the skin of their teeth as a last-minute Alfredo Morelos goal secured a 1-0 aggregate win against Legia Warsaw.

We're expecting a similarly close encounter against Feynooord who remain unbeaten in the Eredivisie after five games, the first three of which ended all square.

The Dutch side also drew 1-1 at Dinamo Tbilisi having won the first leg 4-0, so a draw at 9/4 seems a reasonable expectation between two evenly-matched sides as the last of our Europa League predictions.

Traders' Tips - View from the trading floor

PSV narrowly missed out on winning the Eredivisie last season and we expect them to beat Sporting Lisbon in their Europa League group opener, and Porto should be too strong for Young Boys. Wolves have struggled in the Premier League, but in the third qualifying round won home and away against Torino who have made a great start in Serie A. The midlanders to beat Braga wraps up our Europa League treble.
