European football tips: Parma spearhead five-pronged acca attack

Real Madrid are in action on Sunday but with the European champions still blowing hot and cold we prefer to steer clear and focus our attention elsewhere.

We have three matches from Serie A for our European football tips for the weekend, plus one each from La Liga and the Bundesliga.

Our predictions can be combined to make a 5 fold paying 37/1 and qualifying for a 10% bonus thanks to the BetStars acca bonus offer.

If you want to combine all our tips to make one footy acca, the odds are 37/1 for a winning 5 fold.

Football accumulator tips: Sunday December 9

Real Betis vs Vallecano

Betis have not quite reached the heights of last season when their sixth-placed finish ensured a spot in the Europa League.

Betis have already qualified for the knockout stage but their league form has suffered as a result and they began the weekend in 11th place.

However, they don't need to worry about next Thursday's opponents Dudelange and can focus on beating Vallecano, who have won just two of their 14 games and whose sole away win came at rock-bottom Huesca.

Betis' three home wins have all been by a 1-0 scoreline and so the first of our free football tips is for the hosts to win and under 3.5 goals at 29/20.

Empoli vs Bologna

These sides are heading for a relegation scrap judging by their low standings in the Serie A table, but we think there will be goals on Sunday.

Empoli's last six matches have produced at least three goals and Bologna have done the same in their previous two.

Bologna can leapfrog Empoli and escape the relegation zone with a victory and so the next leg of our football accumulator is for over 2.5 goals at 17/20.

This weekend's best bets

Parma vs Chievo

Chievo remain without a win 14 games into the season which has left them bottom of the table and favourites to be relegated after they were docked three points in September for accounting irregularities.

Parma, declared bankrupt and relegated to Serie D in 2015, are back in the big time after three successive promotions and look decent value to win at 11/10.

Chievo have had a couple of excellent draws against Napoli and Lazio, but Parma have beaten Empoli, Cagliari and eighth-placed Sassuolo at home and look good for another three points.

Genoa vs SPAL

Just a point separates these two sides in the Serie A table and with a close encounter expected, the next leg of our footy acca is for both teams to score at 19/20.

There have been goals at both ends in eight of Genoa's last nine matches, while SPAL have shared 2-2 draws with Empoli and Cagliari, and been beaten 4-1 by Lazio in the last few weeks.

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Stuttgart

Second-placed Borussia Monchengladbach are the only team to have a perfect home record in the Bundesliga this season as they prepare to host relegation-threatened Stuttgart.

Five of Gladbach's six home wins have produced at least three goals with the exception a 2-0 victory against Leverkusen on the opening day of the season.

Stuttgart have won two of their last three games but they came against Nuremberg and Augsburg who are immediately above them in the table. Take the 21/20 on Gladbach to win and over 2.5 goals.

Traders' Tips - View from the trading floor

Juventus can get the ball rolling by beating Inter Milan at home on Friday night, while Sociedad should have too much for a Valladolid team with just two points from a possible 15. We favour Hoffenheim to win at Wolfsburg (13/10) on Saturday, and Leverkusen look too good for lowly Augsburg also in the Bundesliga.
