European football tips: Atalanta in the mix for Sunday's 122/1 five-fold acca

Serie A starts this weekend meaning all four of Europe's big leagues are under way and we have a triple-figure acca to spice up Sunday's matches.

Two weeks ago we were just one goal away from delivering a 115/1 winning accumulator and the odds are similar for this weekend when we're hopeful of hitting the jackpot.

Our European football tips can be backed at 122/1 as a five-fold which qualifies for a 10% bonus thanks to the BetStars acca bonus offer.

If you want to combine all our European football tips, the odds are more than 122/1 for a winning 5 fold.

European football tips: August 25

Spal vs Atalanta

Atalanta qualified for the Champions League for the first time by finishing third in Serie A last season and are 50/1 sixth favourites to win the Scudetto.

They sold two of their best central midfielders during the transfer window with Franck Kessie and Bryan Cristante heading to AC Milan and Roma respectively, but brought in Luis Muriel from Sevilla and Ruslan Malinovsky from Genk.

Spal retained the bulk of their squad from last season and also added striker Andre Petagna from Atalanta, although they sold Manuel Lazzari to Lazio, receiving Alessandro Murgia in return.

Atalanta lost this fixture 2-0 last season but that came in September, five months before their excellent run-in which saw them go unbeaten in their last 13 matches.

Gian Pero Gaseprini's team were the top performers in the both teams to score market away from home last season, so Atalanta to win and concede is the first of our European betting tips.

This weekend's best bets

Mallorca vs Sociedad

Mallorca sealed back-to-back promotions by coming back from 2-0 down to beat Deportivo La Coruna 3-2 on aggregate in last season's play-off and they got off to a flying start by beating Eibar 2-1 at the weekend.

Real Sociedad finished in the top half of the table last season and started the new campaign with a 1-1 draw at Valencia who qualified for the Champions League for the second year in a row, so that should be regarded as a decent start.

As well as Mallorca did in returning to La Liga after a six-year absence, Sociedad will be a much tougher test than Eibar, so an away win is the next leg for Sunday's European football tips.

Leganes vs Atletico Madrid

Atletico tend to be in the shadow of Spain's big two but last season finished runner-up to champions Barcelona, eight points clear of neighbours Real Madrid.

Diego Simeone's side started with a low-key 1-0 win against Getafe having sold Antoine Griezmann, Lucas Hernandez and Rodri to Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City respectively during the summer transfer window.

It will take time for Atletico to get new signings Joao Felix and Marcos Llorente working in tandem, but they should still have too much for Leganes who lost 1-0 at home to Osasuna in their opener.

Leganes have drawn this fixture three years in a row, but we fancy Atletico to win and under 3.5 goals at 6/5.

Leipzig v Frankfurt

The Bundesliga got under way last weekend and both Leipzig and Frankfurt got off to winning starts, the former winning 4-0 at newly-promoted Union Berlin and the latter enjoying a 1-0 victory over Hoffenheim.

Leipzig lost just once at home last season when they finished third to qualify for the Champions League, but Frankfurt weren't that far behind in seventh place.

Both matches were drawn last season and although Frankfurt sold star strikers Luka Jovic and Sebastien Haller to Real Madrid and West Ham respectively during the close season, we fancy them to get a result.

Frankfurt are unbeaten in four Europa League qualifiers and both of their domestic games, so a win or draw for the visitors in the double chance market at 31/20 is the next of our tips for Sunday.

Feature match preview for this weekend

If you're interested in tips on our feature matches for the weekend, check out our in-depth preview below:

Zwolle vs Sparta Rotterdam

We conclude Sunday's European preview by predicting goals in the Eredivisie clash between Zwolle and newly-promoted Sparta Rotterdam.

Zwolle have had a difficult start to their campaign, losing all three matches, conceding three goals on each occasion.

On the other hand, Sparta have enjoyed a great start, winning two games and drawing 2-2 at Feyenoord, scoring and conceding in two of those matches.

Two of those matches produced four goals just like in Zwolle's first couple of games, so over 3.5 goals at 13/10 looks a distinct possibility for Sunday.
