European football tips: Roman soldiers to march past Brescia

Serie A dominates this weekend's European football tips which return from the international break.

Three of our five predictions come from the Italian top flight, with one each from La Liga and the Bundesliga completing the set.

Sunday's predictions can be backed at more than 140/1 as a five-fold which qualifies for a 10% bonus thanks to the BetStars acca bonus offer.

European football tips: November 24

Roma vs Brescia

Roma host bottom-of-the-table Brescia as clear 4/11 favourites despite their six-match unbeaten run coming to an end in a 2-0 defeat at Parma before the international break.

Paulo Fonseca's side have, however, won their last two home matches against Milan and Napoli, so Brescia should pose few problems on Sunday.

The Serie A newcomers have taken just one point from their last seven Serie A games and their last outing was a 4-0 home defeat by Torino, so they head to the capital with confidence at a low ebb.

That said, Brescia know how to score against the elite teams having lost 2-1 to Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli during that spell, so the first of our European betting tips is for Roma to win and both teams to score at 7/4.

Sassuolo vs Lazio

Roma's neighbours Lazio are on a four-match winning streak as part of a seven-match unbeaten run and are 3/4 in the Serie A odds to make it five in a row at Sassuolo.

The Roman side enjoyed 2-1 wins at Fiorentina and AC Milan on successive Sundays before the international break and are priced at 8/1 to win by the same scoreline.

Sassuolo have a W3 D0 L3 record at home this season but have come up short against the cream of Serie A, losing 4-1 and 4-3 to Atalanta and Inter Milan respectively, so we expect Lazio to get the job done just like their fellow top-five rivals.

Lazio have kept just one clean sheet on the road this season, so an away win and both teams to score at 41/20 is the next of our football tips for Sunday.

Sampdoria vs Udinese

Two of Serie A's worst attacks meet on Sunday when Sampdoria hope to extend their unbeaten run to four games against Udinese.

Samp and the Little Zebras signed off from the international break with goalless draws and we are immediately drawn towards odds of 5/6 on at least one team not to score.

Seven of Sampdoria's 12 matches have involved at least one team failing to score and Udinese are even higher with nine.

Last season, both teams beat each other at home without conceding and having scored just 15 goals between them this season, at least one of them failing to find the net looks a likely scenario.

Eibar vs Alaves

Barcelona and Real Madrid are both in action on Saturday night, so we're turning towards some of the lesser lights for our sole tip from La Liga.

Basque rivals Eibar and Alaves are separated by goal difference in the lower reaches of the table, but the hosts to win and both teams to score is the next of our predictions at 10/3.

Eibar lost heavily at home to Barca and Real Madrid recently, but have beaten Sevilla, Celta Vigo and Villarreal in front of their own fans, while Alaves have lost their last five away games, their only point coming from a 1-1 draw at Getafe at the end of August.

Alaves have at least scored in their last three away defeats, so Eibar to win and concede looks a good prospect at a big price.

Hoffenheim vs Mainz

The last of Sunday's European football tips comes from the Bundesliga where fifth-placed Hoffenheim should have too much for lowly Mainz.

Hoffenheim are on a five-match winning run which began with a shock 2-1 victory at Bayern Munich at the start of October and are 13/20 to make it six in a row against a Mainz team that have conceded 21 times in six games on the road this season.

Mainz are third from bottom with nine points and are also the only team in the Bundesliga yet to draw a match, so it looks like a case of win or bust with the visitors who have lost five of their six away games - seven more than the next highest.

Four of Hoffenheim's five most recent wins have produced at least three goals and Mainz's last game on the road was an 8-0 drubbing by Leipzig, so a home win and over 2.5 goals at 23/20 wraps up Sunday's preview.
