Everton vs Crystal Palace Betting Tips

Here are our best tips for Sunday's match for which we also have a range of other markets available:

The lowdown

Everton's form at Goodison Park will be crucial to their hopes of pushing into the top half of the Premier League in the near future.

Their next four away games are at Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City so picking up points at home will be vital.

The 3-0 win at home to Fulham was an encouraging performance and that was backed up by an impressive 2-1 victory at Leicester, with Gylfi Sigurdsson looking back to his best as he scored a stunning second-half winner.

The Toffees have now created more chances than their opponents in each of their last five Premier League matches and a home win at 17/20 is the first of our Everton vs Crystal Palace predictions.

The win against Fulham was Everton's only clean sheet of the season though so the home side may have to work hard for the three points, with Palace having found the net in all their away games this season.

With that in mind, Everton to win and both teams to score looks worth the extra risk and can be backed at 29/10 in the Premier League odds.

First goalscorer tips

Sigurdsson has been Everton's star man in recent weeks with three goals in two games but we still think Richarlison is their biggest attacking threat. He has made a fine start to his career on Merseyside, with the exception of his red card at Bournemouth, and is now playing a more central role with Cenk Tosun dropping to the bench.

That should mean even more chances for the Brazilian to add to the four goals he has scored already this season and we're keen to take advantage of the BetStars odds boost of 6/1 for Richarlison to score first.

Anytime goalscorer tips

Bernard has had to be patient at Everton following his summer arrival on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk but he is now starting to show what he can do.

The Brazil international made his first Premier League start at Leicester and was heavily involved in much of Everton's best attacking play so is a tempting selection at 5/2 in the anytime goalscorer odds.

Where the game will be won or lost

Palace have struggled for goals this season but have looked more threatening on their travels than in front of their own fans at Selhurst Park.

Having scored in six away matches in all competitions this season, they should have enough creativity to cause Everton problems but remain too reliant on Wilfried Zaha.

Everton have more options on the ball and Sigurdsson is starting to shine under the guidance of Marco Silva, having too often been played out of position last season.

Speaking after the Leicester game, Silva said: "I cannot talk to you about last season because I wasn't here and it's not fair but I know his quality. He's playing a different role and our style is completely different.

"He has worked to get ready for this, working in training with great intensity. It's not just what he gives us with the ball but also what he is giving us without the ball."

Everton are now just three points off the top six and with confidence returning to the team, the goals can continue to flow so over 2.5 goals at 19/20 is the last of our Everton vs Crystal Palace betting tips.

Team news

Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and James McCarthy could all be involved for Everton. Defender Mina and midfielder Gomes have yet to make their Toffees debuts following their deadline-day moves from Barcelona due to respective foot and hamstring injuries, but both have returned to full training. So, too, has McCarthy, who has been sidelined since suffering a horrific double leg break in January, but fellow midfielder Idrissa Gueye is a doubt after injuring his ankle while on Senegal duty during the international break.

Wilfried Zaha faces a late fitness test on an adductor injury, while Max Meyer and Alexander Sorloth will similarly be given time to recover from viral infections. Christian Benteke is recovering from surgery on his knee, Joel Ward has a muscular injury, and Scott Dann and Connor Wickham are short of match fitness
following long-term knee injuries.

Traders' Tips - View from the trading floor

Everton impressed before the international break with two successive wins and should pick up where they left off against Crystal Palace, who are struggling for goals at the moment.
