Liverpool vs Fulham Betting Tips
Here are our predictions for Sunday's game for which we also have a range of other markets available:
Liverpool have beaten Fulham in their last five Premier League fixtures and although this is their first meeting since 2014, few would argue with odds of 1/10 on a win for the Merseysiders in Sunday's noon kick-off.
Fulham have the appearance of a side already doomed to an immediate return to the Championship and worryingly for a team that have been lauded for their attack, they barely laid a finger on Huddersfield on Monday when they had just one shot on target.
The Cottagers' failure to score in their last two games means they may have problems at both ends of the pitch, although it's in defence where their biggest problems lie having conceded 29 goals in 11 games - five more than the next leakiest side Burnley.
Fulham have conceded three or more goals on six occasions this season but the Reds are just 4/9 to score 3+ and 3/10 to win and over 2.5 goals, so the first of our Liverpool vs Fulham predictions is a home win to nil at 5/6.
The west London side have failed to score five times this season against worse defences than Liverpool's.
First goalscorer tips
Mo Salah is the obvious pick to breach a hole-ridden Fulham defence on Sunday at 23/10.
The Egypt attacker has broken the deadlock in two of his last three Premier League games and is still getting plenty of chances despite not reaching the heights of last season.
Anytime goalscorer tips
Joel Matip may retain his place in the Liverpool starting line-up as a replacement for Joe Gomez, who has been struggling with an Achilles injury lately.
The Cameroon international scored in the 3-0 win against Southampton in September and with Fulham conceding from a corner on Monday, the scene could be set for the tall defender to add to his tally as an anytime scorer at 15/2.
Where the game will be won or lost
It's hard to envisage anything other than wave after wave of Liverpool attacks at Anfield and with the goals drying up for Aleksandar Mitrovic at the other end, there doesn't seem to be much of an outlet for the visitors.
In Mitrovic's first season with Newcastle he scored against Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham (twice) but his body language on Monday suggests there will be a different outcome at the weekend.
At the other end, Liverpool have had no problems finding the net at home where they have scored 12 times, the third best in the Premier League.
We're expecting an early goal in the game too and are making 2/1 on the deadlock to be broken inside the first 10 minutes the next of our Liverpool v Fulham betting tips.
The Reds scored inside the first 10 minutes against both Southampton and Cardiff, like Fulham in the bottom five, while the first goal has been scored during that period in three of the Cottagers' matches this season.
The last of our Premier League predictions is for Liverpool to win 4-0 at 8/1. That has been the scoreline in the last two meetings between the sides at Anfield and although those wins occurred a few years ago, it would not be a surprise if the Merseysiders completed a hat-trick against a dispirited side.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and fellow midfielder Naby Keita are both available after being sidelined for a number of weeks due to hamstring injuries. Xherdan Shaqiri will also come into contention having been left at home for the Champions League trip to Red Star Belgrade in an attempt to reduce local hostilities.
Fulham are expected to be without Kevin McDonald and Joe Bryan, who are both struggling with hamstring injuries.
Traders' Tips - View from the trading floor
Fulham have lost by three goals or more in four of their last seven matches and look meat and drink for a Liverpool side with one of the best attacks in Europe. The Reds to overcome a -2 handicap looks the way to go.
