Manchester City vs Manchester United Match Preview and Predictions
Manchester City's rise to the top of English football and the recent decline of Manchester United are highlighted by the odds for the derby on Sunday.

Having traditionally been much the stronger of the two teams, United now face their 'noisy neighbours' as the 7/1 underdogs to repeat last season's victory at the Etihad Stadium.
City failed to win the Premier League title on derby day last season but that only delayed the inevitable and Pep Guardiola's men will hope to highlight the gulf between these teams this weekend.

Manchester City vs Manchester United Betting Tips
Here are our predictions for the Manchester derby for which we also have a range of other markets available:
- Man City -1 on handicap 19/20
- Man City -1 to win first half 10/3
- B Silva to score in Man City win 10/3
City looked on course to complete the double over United last season - and claim the title - when they took a 2-0 lead in this fixture but the party was ruined by the visitors in the second half thanks to Paul Pogba's double and a Chris Smalling winner.
There is less at stake on Sunday but City will never tire of getting one over their rivals, with last season's result surely ensuring no complacency even if City are in front.
Since losing to Lyon in the Champions League, City have been ruthless, winning 11 of their last 12 matches and drawing at Liverpool.
Only two of those wins were by a single goal and seven of their nine wins in the Premier League this season have been by at least two goals.
United claimed a shock win at Juventus in midweek with two late goals but that does not put us off opposing them.
They have already lost to Tottenham and West Ham by more than one goal this season and City appeal at 19/20 to win by two goals or more as the first of our Manchester City vs Manchester United predictions.

First goalscorer tips
Raheem Sterling has been the man to open the scoring in three Premier League games for City this season and bagged a double in last weekend's 6-1 thrashing of Southampton.
Guardiola sang his praises after that game, describing his form as "incredible", and we're backing Sterling at 4/1 in the first goalscorer odds.
Anytime goalscorer tips
Leroy Sane did not seem to be flavour of the month with Guardiola at the beginning of the season but has started five of City's last seven Premier League fixtures.
The German has rewarded his manager's faith by scoring in three of those five starts so assuming he is in the starting line-up, 6/4 looks decent value in the anytime goalscorer odds.
Where the game will be won or lost
The warning signs are there for United and this could be a miserable afternoon for the visitors unless Jose Mourinho is successful in 'parking the bus', with United's defensive record this season suggesting they are incapable of doing so.
Mourinho has spent much of the season moaning about the club's failure to sign a centre-half over the summer and they have certainly struggled at the back.
They have kept just one clean sheet in the Premier League and have conceded three goals on three separate occasions. In contrast, City have conceded just four goals and have scored an average of four goals a game at the Etihad Stadium so will be quick to capitalise on any shortcomings in the United defence.
Just as they were in this game last season, United have also been slow to get going - unlike their opponents.
They have been trailing at half-time in three of their six away games this season and have scored only four goals in the first 30 minutes of matches, conceding seven. City, on the other hand, have netted 11 times and conceded just twice in the same period.
City are 10/3 to win the first half by more than one goal and that gets the nod as the next of our Manchester City vs Manchester Utd betting tips.
Finally, BetStars have a range of Manchester derby odds boosts and the one that catches the eye is Bernardo Silva to score in a City win at 10/3.
Silva already has five goals in all competitions for City this season and could play an important role on a day when United are likely to be left feeling blue.
Romelu Lukaku could return to action for United. The striker missed the trips to Bournemouth and Juventus with a hamstring complaint but will be assessed as he steps up training. Diogo Dalot has been out with an injury sustained during the international break, while captain Antonio Valencia is back in contention having travelled to Turin.
Traders' Tips - View from the trading floor
Manchester City continue to look the strongest team in the Premier League and after slipping up in this fixture last season, we do not expect Pep Guardiola's men to make the same mistake again. City are too strong in attack and will punish a United defence which continues to look vulnerable.
