West Ham vs Manchester City Betting Tips
Here are our best tips for Saturday's match for which we also have a range of other markets available:
Manchester City will be looking to get off to a flying start in the capital just as they did last season when they won 2-0 at Arsenal.
In recent years, the fixture compilers have not been a friend to West Ham who have played a top-six side in the last five seasons, losing on four occasions.
Manuel Pellegrini will not have been pleased to see Manchester City as the Hammers' first opponents as they have a poor record against them having lost their last seven meetings in all competitions.
That said, this could be a good time to face the champions with Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, Ederson and Fernandinho only recently back from their extended break following international duty at Copa America.
However, the Hammers have conceded exactly four goals against City in this fixture in the last three seasons, losing by at least three goals on each occasion, so the first of our West Ham vs Manchester City predictions is for the visitors to win with a -2 handicap at 17/10.

First goalscorer tips
Kevin de Bruyne has played a full part in City's pre-season after his involvement in the 2018-19 treble-winning campaign was curtailed by knee and muscular injuries.
The midfielder has impressed on the tour of the Far East, scoring the opener in the 3-1 win against Yokohama F Marinos, and seems good value at 13/2 to break the deadlock at the London Stadium
The 28-year-old Belgian, who opened the scoring in a 4-0 win at West Ham two seasons ago, played the whole of the Community Shield apart from the last minute and afterwards said: "I'm feeling physically better than I did last year but we're not there yet."
Anytime goalscorer tips
David Silva has a sensational record against West Ham and gets the vote as our anytime goalscorer tip at 2/1.
The Spanish midfielder has scored in four of his last five matches against the Hammers and was also on target in last month's 4-1 Premier League Asia Trophy victory.
City usually score a hatful of goals against West Ham, so hopefully Silva can add to his tally in his final season with the club.

Where the game will be won or lost
There is optimism among West Ham fans that this could be the year they challenge for the top six after bringing in a couple of decent strikers and a midfielder.
Sebastian Haller scored 20 goals for Eintracht Frankfurt last season and Albian Ajeti bagged more than 40 in three years with Basel, while there is genuine excitement about attacking midfielder Pablo Fornals who joined from Villarreal in a £25million deal.
The forwards have big boots to fill after Marko Arnautovic took the cash to join Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG and there is still a big gap between the teams in terms of quality and financial muscle as City proved with the capture of defensive midfielder Rodri from Atletico and right-back Joao Cancelo from Juventus.
The facts are that Manchester City have scored exactly four goals in this fixture in each of the last three seasons, winning 4-0, 4-1 and 4-0, which does not include a 5-0 drubbing in the FA Cup in the 2016-17 campaign, nor the 4-1 win in China.
With West Ham having strengthened their squad, another thrashing may seem unlikely but there was genuine optimism at the start of last season and Pellegrini's side still lost 4-0 at Liverpool. Note that figure four cropping up again!
The next of our West Ham vs Manchester City betting tips is for the visitors to win 4-1 at 16/1. The Hammers have an exciting blend of flair players like Manuel Lanzini and Forlans, while Declan Rice brings steel to the midfield, but can their defence cope with the champions' dizzying attacks? History suggests not.
We wrap up our West Ham vs Man City predictions by backing the opening goal to come between 11-20 minutes at 18/5 just as it has in the last three seasons in this fixture.
The Hammers will be without captain Mark Noble, who has a dead leg, but goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has been passed fit despite missing a chunk of pre-season.
Haller and Fornals are set to make their debutswhile Jack Wilshere, fit after a full pre-season, is expected to start alongside Declan Rice in the centre.
City will be without Leroy Sane for between six and seven months with a knee injury he sustained during the Community Shield, but fellow winger Riyad Mahrez is back in contention after missing the curtaon-raiser due to concerns over medication he had taken while on international duty with Algeria.
New signing Joao Cancelo is not expected to challenge Kyle Walker for the right-back berth just yet.
