Flames a hot pick in NHL treble
It's a busy night of action again in the NHL tonight with 12 games on tap and some intriguing match-ups.
We've picked out our best bets from the action with a £10 stake on goal spreads returning just over £288 if all three are successful.
Calgary Flames -1.5 @ 41/20
The most intriguing of those match-ups is in western Canada with the battle of Alberta as the Edmonton Oilers visit the Calgary Flames.
The Oilers have largely disappointed in a season they were expected to make strides forward and even with Connor McDavid in the league's top 10 in scoring with 31 points, they have struggled with consistency.
But they more often than not raise their game against the most bitter of rivals and will hope for some support for McDavid from the likes of Leon Draisaitl, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Milan Lucic.
The Flames are fresh off a shutout win over the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night when the Oilers went down 6-4 to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The line of Sean Monahan, Johnny Gaudreau and Michael Ferland has been on fire and should be enough to see them claim the victory.
Toronto Maple Leafs -1.5 @ 41/20
The Maple Leafs are enjoying a strong season and have won seven of the last 10 contests as they travel to the west coast to meet the Vancouver Canucks in another all-Canadian match-up.
Their offence has again been led by number one overall pick Auston Matthews but solid support from three strong lines and stellar goaltending from Frederik Andersen has kept them towards the top of the standings all season.
The Canucks are one point out of the wild card and fresh off a 5-3 win over the Nashville Predators but they will have their work cut out against the resurgent Leafs.
New Jersey Devils -1.5 @ 21/10
The last-placed Arizona Coyotes have had a season to forget with only six wins from their 28 games.
That sees them cut off at the bottom of the Western Conference and it will be another tough evening for them against the disciplined Devils.
